Senior Consultant, Financials – Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Expenses, Suppliers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee: Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Expenses & Supplier Accounts

• Comprehend customer business needs, design and set up the Workday solution, showcase configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and ensure knowledge transfer to clients

• Collaborate with customers to facilitate the transition of legacy data into Workday

• Support the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions

• Provide project managers with progress updates and keep them informed of the overall project status

• Work collaboratively and synergistically on team-based projects.

• Ensure customers are aware of and utilize Alchemy and Workday best practices

• Help maintain customer referenceability post-production

• Take advantage of training opportunities to enhance your skillset

• Aim to innovate and propose new methods and tools to implement Workday efficiently and effectively

• Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

• Assist in mentoring new and junior consultants and serve as a professional role model

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of consulting experience in Workday Financials with expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Expenses & Supplier Accounts

• Proven experience in leading and implementing Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Expenses & Supplier Accounts

• A background in Finance and Accounting

• Experience in deploying Workday, Ellucian, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively managing customer expectations

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%
