Senior Construction Recruiter – 1099 Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and recruit qualified construction professionals for open positions.

• Proactively source and headhunt both passive and active candidates.

• Engage in candidate outreach, discovery, and screening processes.

• Assess candidate qualifications in relation to position requirements.

• Confirm relevant construction experience, project history, credentials, and other necessary qualifications.

• Prepare thorough and accurate candidate submissions.

• Manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

• Guide candidates through interviews, offers, and placement stages.

• Maintain a dynamic candidate pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up.

• Recruit for various construction and skilled construction roles nationwide, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents, construction managers, estimators, preconstruction specialists, as well as professionals in electrical, mechanical, MEP, commercial, and healthcare construction.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional recruiting experience.

• Proven experience in recruiting within the construction sector.

• Expertise in full-cycle recruiting processes.

• Strong skills in candidate sourcing and headhunting.

• Experience in independently identifying and engaging passive candidates within the construction field.

• Proficient in candidate screening and qualification.

• Ability to assess construction experience against specific position requirements.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to independently manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines.

• Established sourcing techniques and the ability to recruit without basic recruiter training.

• Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor on a commission-only basis.

• Must be based in the U.S.

• Not suitable for new or entry-level recruiters.
