This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of engineers and field professionals, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Ensure clarity in team roles, team structure, and the effective allocation of resources across various projects.
• Track team workload, well-being, and engagement, especially in a high-travel context.
• Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, mentoring, and performance assessments.
• Offer continuous feedback and guidance for career development.
• Recognize and nurture high-potential talent while proactively addressing performance deficiencies.
• Spearhead the development of the quality control strategy, scope, and plan for extensive heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Direct mobilization, project execution, and resource allocation.
• Provide mentorship, advice, and support to engineers responsible for coordinating, executing, and managing construction projects.
• Collaborate with various departments to establish top-tier quality control and safety strategies, plans, and practices.
• Ensure team members adhere to the high standards of the Critical Infrastructure Command Team.
• Assist in business development initiatives and serve as a prominent external representative and advocate for the Critical Infrastructure Command Team and Ulteig in the industry.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale heavy civil infrastructure construction is required.
• At least 4 years of experience managing construction inspection/quality teams is necessary.
• DOT, ACI, or similar certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete are preferred.
• Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
• Self-driven; capable of working independently as well as within a project team.
