Senior Construction Project Manager – Wind

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall financial well-being of projects

• Create and uphold financial and equipment forecasts for projects

• Input project estimates into the financial system, assign cost codes, and approve invoices

• Provide financial data and billing information to the Accounting department, and generate monthly billings for owners

• Manage subcontracts and suppliers, overseeing the budget and selections

• Direct Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers by assigning tasks and facilitating training

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the owner and act as the on-site representative

• Address site issues, manage change orders, and secure necessary approvals

• Maintain project schedules and budgets while managing quality, risk, safety, and compliance

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience

• At least eight years of experience in construction management, project management, or related fields

• Capability to manage multiple large and complex projects effectively

• Strong active listening and communication skills, with a willingness to accept diverse input and feedback

• Basic knowledge of construction law and generally accepted business practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and relevant web applications at an intermediate level

• Positive professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills

• Ability to interpret and convey Mortenson policies

• Valid driver’s license

• Willingness to travel up to 100%
