This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Oversees and evaluates the daily operations of various contractor teams simultaneously.
• Facilitates the installation and/or replacement of electrical infrastructure equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, company construction standards, specifications, and government regulations.
• Collaborates with all stakeholders, including third-party consultants, contractors, and client management, to uphold construction timelines, ensuring that work is finished on schedule, within budget, and according to company standards.
• Notifies all federal, state, and local agencies as required before, during, and after construction.
• Coordinates with customers at the job site prior to construction to ascertain specific customer needs, construction sequencing, and provides verification of site readiness.
• Maintains consistent and regular communication with contractor supervision regarding job performance and appropriately documents results.
• Ensures compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract and technical specifications.
• Makes necessary field decisions regarding job modifications and communicates them to the Supervisor and Program or Project Manager as needed; documents all changes to ensure compliance and updates are recorded in the appropriate information technology systems.
• Regularly updates relevant parties on job status to facilitate scheduling commitments.
• Maintains customer coordination throughout the construction phase and conducts job walk-downs with the customer and contractor upon job completion.
• Takes on storm duty assignments as necessary.
• Reports to service center, job site, or remote locations.
• Leads all Environmental Health and Safety (HSA) activities and reporting.
• Monitors safety, environmental, and quality management of the work.
• Represents the client in the field and coordinates with the EPC contractor to ensure construction and commissioning work aligns with project documents, codes, and industry best practices.
• Reviews engineering drawings.
• Leads meetings with the project team and EPC.
• Contributes to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Manages and resolves issues and non-conformances.
• Supports and promotes issue resolution and lessons learned.
• Acts as the client's quality assurance representative and conducts routine audits of the EPC QA/QC program, documenting and providing reports.
• Records findings in the field through field observation reports.
• Leads system turnover walkdowns and verification processes.
• Provides input to Entergy’s Project Controls for project quantity tracking and progress reporting.
• Experience in field construction oversight.
• Electrical or mechanical oversight experience within a plant environment.
• Strong communication skills, management background, and the ability to halt work when necessary.
