Senior Construction Cost Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, develop, validate, and sustain construction cost data specific to various disciplines, encompassing aspects such as new construction, renovation, maintenance, life cycle costs, and specialized cost collections.

• Collaborate closely with a team of subject matter experts.

• Coordinate team efforts to harmonize cost data.

• The development of cost data will accurately reflect contemporary and realistic material, equipment, and labor expenditures.

• Integrate emerging trends and technologies into both current and future cost data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience (or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree).

• Proven experience in construction cost estimating and fieldwork in one or more disciplines, including civil, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

• Candidates must possess expert-level knowledge of construction practices, equipment, and materials.

• Strong writing abilities, effective verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

• Proficiency in using Windows-based and Cloud-based software applications is necessary.
