Senior Component Engineer – Hydrogen Energy System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Extract component requirements from system and subsystem specifications.

• Establish performance criteria and acceptance standards for components.

• Assess suppliers' technical data and their proposed component solutions.

• Assist in component selection and sourcing initiatives.

• Engage in supplier design reviews and technical discussions.

• Facilitate the integration of components into the overall system architecture.

• Contribute to the planning of verification and system qualification efforts.

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy Systems, or a similar field.

• Proven experience in component engineering, product development, or systems engineering.

• Expertise in deriving component requirements from system-level objectives.

• Solid understanding of component performance specifications and technical documentation.

• Experience with supplier technical evaluations and design reviews.

• Comprehension of system architecture and component integration methodologies.

• Ability to analyze and validate supplier data against established performance criteria.

• Knowledge of verification and validation processes.

• Familiarity with FMEA, HAZOP, and risk assessment methodologies is advantageous.

• Experience with fuel cells, hydrogen systems, batteries, thermal management systems, or related technologies is beneficial.

• Strong English communication skills.
