This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare all tax returns, renditions, and filings for designated clients utilizing PTMS, OneSource, or PowerPlan.
• Oversee large and more intricate client renditions, returns, and reporting obligations.
• Present finalized returns to management for their evaluation.
• Create check requests after jurisdictional tax liabilities have received management approval.
• Act as a resource for junior team members regarding client-specific processing challenges.
• Ensure that all relevant returns, renditions, tax bills, and remittances are duplicated and sent out promptly.
• Monitor and assess all jurisdictional tax notifications for assigned clients.
• Update internal compliance software with the necessary tax-related information for each assigned client.
• Manage or assist with the onboarding of new clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in property tax compliance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with PTMS (Property Tax Management System) is preferred but not mandatory.
• A technical tax background is preferred.
• Availability to work overtime as necessary.
