This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote transparency in compensation and enhance decision-making for managers at Clover through innovative applications of AI.
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline compensation workflows, automate data analysis, and enhance reporting and insights generation.
• Discover and implement AI-driven solutions to automate compensation tasks such as salary survey submissions, job leveling, salary band assignments, and compensation analytics.
• Propel the advancement of the People Operations team’s AI capabilities by testing, piloting, and scaling new tools and methodologies across various functions.
• Create and document compensation policies, practices, and AI-enhanced workflows that boost efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee the compensation structure and job architecture, providing expert guidance, execution, and education on compensation matters.
• Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, recruiters, and managers to design and implement focused compensation solutions, including strategies for new hires, promotions, retention, and ad-hoc compensation adjustments.
• Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle, bonus cycle, and assist with annual and off-cycle equity grant processes.
• Aid in the administration of Clover’s equity programs, which encompass annual refresh grants, new-hire grants, promotional grants, and ESPP administration.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, and external equity administration providers to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, tax reporting requirements, accounting treatments, and internal controls.
• Support required auditing, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation related to equity compensation programs and stock administration.
• Contribute to the preparation of analyses, modeling, and materials for senior executives and the Compensation Committee/Board of Directors regarding compensation and equity programs.
• Assist in maintaining equity compensation guidelines, governance documentation, and educational resources for employees.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compensation, including guidance on stock administration and compliance with regulatory requirements in a public company setting.
• Advanced proficiency in various AI tools with a proven track record of using these tools to enhance business processes and decision-making.
• Experience in identifying automation opportunities, optimizing processes, and designing scalable workflows within HR or compensation functions.
• Familiarity with partnering with Legal, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors on matters related to equity administration, taxation, accounting, and compliance.
• Practical experience with compensation and HRIS systems (e.g., Excel, ADP Workforce Now, Pave, E*Trade, Workday, Shareworks, Carta, Fidelity).
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
