This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the development and execution of Dropbox’s compensation philosophy, design, and programs for your designated client teams.
• Establish a consultative and collaborative partnership with HR business partners, business leaders, and executive leadership regarding the evolution of compensation programs and initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions, supporting them with sound judgment and data-driven recommendations.
• Proactively investigate best practices and trends in compensation, performing analyses on the effectiveness, competitiveness, and fairness of current programs. Share findings along with thoughtful alternative solutions that align with Dropbox’s philosophy.
• Aid in the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-wide compensation programs and processes, including job architecture, market benchmarking, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices.
• Create and implement programs that meet business needs while considering their impact on the global employee base.
• Develop and deliver training and educational materials related to compensation for your client teams.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting team to ensure a positive new hire experience by applying Dropbox's compensation policies in a fair and equitable manner, including consultations on new hire offer packages to align with market standards and internal peers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Over 7 years of experience in-house or as an advisor, preferably within the technology sector or a compensation consulting firm.
• Proficient in job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and international compensation practices.
• Proven adaptability and experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and cultivate robust working relationships with various stakeholders, including executives, line management, and peers.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting Corporate Groups or EPD teams.
• Excellent change management and project management capabilities.
• Superior written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear outputs and recommendations for informed decision-making.
• Proficient in advanced Excel (the interview process may include an Excel assessment).
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with SQL, Databricks, or similar tools for analyzing large or complex compensation datasets.
