This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Engage directly with veterinary clinics, shelter facilities, and corporate account clients.
• Comprehend customer requirements and promote the Animal Health Companion Animal product range.
• Facilitate pull-through activities that align with customer strategies.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated customers and engage with decision-makers.
• Recognize business opportunities and enhance account sales growth.
• Formulate customer strategies, territory plans, and account plans.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners.
• Work together across species teams and share insights with regional team members.
• Evaluate monthly sales outcomes and manage expenses within budget constraints.
• Identify programs and services that meet customer needs while providing education and training.
• Collaborate with leadership and Field Professional Services to create and deliver appropriate offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of Animal Health products, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Communicate customer insights, industry developments, product information, and market trends within the organization.
• Establish and achieve learning and development goals agreed upon with leadership.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of sales or equivalent experience, OR a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible outcomes.
• Dedication to teamwork and problem-solving initiatives.
• Capability to understand customers’ changing needs and leverage organizational and cultural insights to drive results.
• Effective use of selling techniques and strategies across various customers and accounts.
• Ability to convey the value of Animal Health products using authorized resources.
• Capacity to independently identify, develop, and manage diverse and complex accounts within a territory.
• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight and engage in some weekend activities.
• Preferred sales experience and/or background in the Animal Health industry.
• Preferred knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products.
• Familiarity with or previous experience in Distribution is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are preferred.
• Must reside within the territory or within 20 miles of its border.
• Possession of a valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
