Senior Communications Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Oversee the communications initiatives of the PPCA to elevate public discourse regarding the advantages and viability of transitioning from coal to clean energy in Southeast Asia, while contributing to the broader communication activities of the PPCA, under the guidance of the Communications Lead.

• Collaborate with the PPCA Communications Team, the wider PPCA staff, and relevant government entities to design, develop, and implement comprehensive communication strategies.

• Create and refine persuasive and impactful narratives that effectively respond to local priorities, concerns, and opportunities.

• Bring an in-depth understanding of the media landscape in Southeast Asia to the PPCA Team.

• Forge new partnerships and utilize existing ones to enhance and amplify communication messages.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the PPCA's communication initiatives in Southeast Asia.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in managing external communications, including the development and execution of communication strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in working within networks, showcasing a strong capability in stakeholder management.

• Proven ability to engage effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders, such as governments, think tanks, and financial institutions.

• Established experience in organizing and delivering events.

• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, website content management systems, and email marketing.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, which is our working language; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
