Senior Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global PR strategy that strengthens IQM’s position as a leader in full stack quantum computing infrastructure.

• Own and enhance IQM’s external messaging, converting intricate technical achievements into clear and credible narratives.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with prominent US and international journalists across deep tech, semiconductor, HPC, and enterprise media sectors.

• Proactively secure media coverage surrounding system deployments, research breakthroughs, partnerships, and product launches.

• Prepare executives and technical leaders for media interviews, briefings, and conference presentations.

• Spearhead thought leadership initiatives, including the creation of contributed articles, expert commentary, and the promotion of IQM’s annual flagship report.

• Establish connections with technology analysts and facilitate IQM’s inclusion in market research and technology landscape reports.

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering, Research, and Legal teams to ensure messaging is accurate and consistent.

• Monitor global media coverage and analyst sentiment while preparing for reputation management and crisis communication readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

• Significant experience in PR, corporate communications, or strategic communications within deep tech, big tech, advanced computing, quantum computing, or scientific sectors.

• Proven success in positioning complex B2B technologies in international technology, science, or enterprise media.

• Established connections with journalists covering technology, science, or enterprise markets.

• Experience overseeing PR agencies and achieving measurable communication results.

• Previous experience leading or managing communications teams.

• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to write clearly about technically complex topics.

• Confidence in navigating high-visibility communication scenarios and cross-functional environments.
