Senior Commercial Millwork Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Capable of assigning fabrication, finishing, and installation durations to each millwork piece independently, without relying on predetermined formulas or timelines.

• Bidding on projects that vary in scale from $2,000 to over $3M.

• Tasked with reviewing project invitations and compiling all necessary information to construct a comprehensive proposal.

• Effectively communicate with clients in a timely fashion (through phone and/or email) to grasp project demands, objectives, and inquiries following the bid.

• Work alongside the Sales and Marketing Team to pursue and secure bid projects.

• Prepare projects for a thorough and successful transition to Project Management and Engineering.

• Examine and validate proposals submitted by assigned estimators to ensure accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and time estimates.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of experience in daily millwork estimation.

• Capability to create a takeoff from the ground up.

• Must be adept at deconstructing millwork into individual components and pricing them without the support of existing formulas.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings, identifying all millwork elements.

• Strong comprehension of millwork construction techniques, showcasing ongoing education to adapt to evolving demands.

• Experience with Bluebeam is essential.
