This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Manages Hyperone’s website and mobile application from a commercial standpoint, overseeing the complete commercial scope which includes planning, category management, digital advertising, partnerships, and marketplace operations.
• Leads a team of 17 individuals, comprising 5 direct reports, to stimulate online growth, enhance product performance, and boost digital revenue channels.
• Establishes the commercial strategy for Hyperone's digital operations to promote growth and fulfill objectives set by the Steering Committee.
• Inspires and enables his/her commercial team to achieve compelling annual commercial results.
• Assists the Category team in increasing listing percentages.
• Negotiates annual rebates and incentive programs with major vendors to improve gross margin through yearly contracts.
• Works collaboratively with vendors on various initiatives to promote their brands/products.
• Creates a rate card for Hyperone App advertisements, features, SMS, etc., to assist vendors in marketing their brands/products.
• Develops a digital strategy to meet App traffic objectives through various digital channels such as influencers/bloggers, affiliates, or media buying with efficient return on ad spend (ROAS).
• Expands Hyperone's brands across different marketplaces and captures market share within their respective sectors.
• Cultivates and maintains solid relationships with corporate clients to meet their needs, whether for office supplies or employee giveaways.
• Ensures strong alignment and internal collaboration among various E-commerce functions to enable synergy and growth.
• Reviews profit and loss statements monthly, identifying growth opportunities through new revenue streams or reduced costs of goods sold (COGs).
• Reports to the E-commerce Director on a monthly and quarterly basis regarding detailed business results versus budgets and develops mitigation plans if necessary.
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• **Experience:** At least 10 years of overall business experience, including 2–3 years in **e-commerce** or **marketplace management**.
• **Industry Background:** Experience in the **retail or grocery** sectors is highly desirable.
• **Marketplace Knowledge:** Prior experience managing or engaging with platforms like **Amazon, Jumia, Noon**, or similar marketplaces is advantageous.
• **Languages:** Proficient in **Arabic and English**, both written and spoken.
• **Leadership:** Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive performance.
• **Strategic Thinking:** Strong ability to plan, execute, and align marketplace strategies with overarching business objectives.
• **Communication:** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams, suppliers, and marketplace partners.
• **Results Orientation:** Focused, goal-oriented, and capable of delivering measurable outcomes in a dynamic environment.
