This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Serve as a vital member of deal teams to aid in achieving business orders, sales, and margin objectives for the designated segment.
• Assess opportunities and create MYA indicative, budgetary, and firm proposals, taking the lead in proposal efforts and customer negotiations.
• Offer commercial assistance throughout the commercial process, including risk assessment/mitigation and terms and conditions.
• Conduct inflation and escalation evaluations, execute financial analyses, scenario planning, and pricing strategies.
• Relay risks and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
• Draft and negotiate contracts while addressing customer negotiation gaps.
• Collaborate with internal MYA teams, GE Vernova business lines, and external clients.
• Provide price tracking and trending analysis for MYA products during Commercial Review Boards and Deal Reviews.
• Present deals for delegation of authority approvals and ensure compliance with the ITO process.
• Oversee tender schedules and guarantee timely internal approvals, bid submissions, and order-booking readiness.
• Challenge current tendering practices and suggest innovative collaboration models.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and CPQ to manage proposal risk profiles and pipeline forecasts.
• Assist in handover meetings with OTR to accurately reflect as-sold pricing and supply scope.
• Lead communications across all organizational levels, including deal reviews with senior and executive leadership.
• Contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of the CLS MYA product line within SCS.
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree.
• Strong commercial experience in power business tendering.
• Excellent business acumen, negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in contract drafting, managing, and negotiating complex commercial and legal terms and conditions.
• Prior experience with multi-year transaction risk evaluation and mitigation.
• Knowledge of complex financial multi-year models and advanced spreadsheet formulas.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a proven ability to swiftly respond to customer requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Familiarity with Software & Controls Solutions (SCS) business product lines.
• Previous technical and/or field experience.
• Capability to lead and influence across functions, achieving consensus with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize effectively.
• Competence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, depending on circumstances.
• Self-driven, energetic, and positive individual who enjoys commercial challenges.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
