Senior Commercial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Extensive expertise and experience in the commercial management of contracts for projects at both the tender/procurement and post-contract phases.

• Preferred experience in the Middle East construction sector over the last 4-5 years, with a focus on project delivery in Saudi Arabia being an additional advantage.

• Strong understanding of common law, contracts, commercial aspects, and fiduciary duties, requiring at least 15 years of post-qualification experience.

• Exceptional written English skills for drafting contracts, task orders, contract letters, notices, and other communications.

• Proficient negotiation abilities to finalize contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Familiarity with financial control systems used in large company projects.

• Keen attention to detail and the capability to review invoices and contracts before they are issued.

• Competent cost reporting abilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management from a recognized university.

• Must hold a Chartered QS designation (MRICS or MCIOB).

• Previous experience with FIDIC Contracts is essential.

• Strong knowledge of contractual, commercial, and financial principles.

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in contracts and commercial management, both pre and/or post-contract.

• A consultant and/or client background for at least 10 years is required.

• Preferably, a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Middle East.
