This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, and Services teams to enhance revenue operations and enforce contracting best practices.
• Act as the main point of contact and subject-matter expert for intricate direct sales, reseller, ISV, and global partner transactions.
• Minimize deal friction and facilitate faster transaction closures.
• Draft and negotiate various commercial legal agreements, including SaaS, partner, reseller, software license and maintenance, services, RFP responses, and more.
• Work in conjunction with outside counsel and legal team members to guarantee compliance across different jurisdictions.
• Participate in ad hoc company projects, such as M&A, compliance, and corporate initiatives.
• Negotiate directly with customers and partners while providing guidance to various departments throughout the deal lifecycle.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of pertinent experience, including direct involvement with SaaS enterprise agreements.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school in the United States.
• Active member in good standing of a U.S. State Bar.
• A genuine passion for complex deal-making.
• Capability to collaborate with diverse colleagues while maintaining professionalism, transparency, and a sense of humor.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and business-oriented, with a team-first mentality.
• Strong interest in engaging directly with customers and internal teams to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Ability to quickly assess situations, think innovatively, and drive transactions to completion.
• Experience with direct sales agreements, partner/channel agreements, or services agreements.
• Preferred: experience with government technology contracting, including GSA, SEWP, NASPO, or TX-DIR.
• Preferred: understanding of software revenue recognition regulations.
• Preferred: experience negotiating professional services engagements alongside SaaS agreements.
• Preferred: exposure to compliance matters related to privacy or government relations.
