Senior Cognitive Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize cognitive science principles to facilitate AI solutions within enterprise business applications.

• Create and execute techniques for deriving representations from textual data to enhance information retrieval and decision-making.

• Spearhead R&D projects focused on training design, competency modeling, and cognitive performance metrics.

• Assess cognitive training needs and design cognitive skills training programs.

• Formulate and validate metrics to evaluate cognitive performance and competency frameworks.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate cognitive science into AI-driven systems.

• Participate in all stages of software development, with a focus on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five (5) years of applicable experience in cognitive science, AI, or related domains.

• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), knowledge discovery, data mining, and analytics of unstructured data.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C/C++, or Python.

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: NLP, text comprehension, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, or ranking systems.

• Must hold an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
