This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Take ownership and serve as the primary contributor to the PostgreSQL stack.
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of database infrastructure.
• Manage the infrastructure for the Wrike product.
• Implement dependable solutions to guarantee a product uptime SLA of 99.9%.
• Collaborate with GCP, AWS, and other cloud service providers utilizing the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach.
• Introduce and support new infrastructure services.
• Engage in incident response and management, which includes on-call responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships both within and outside the team.
• Participate in high-level technical projects, including the development of an internal PostgreSQL database management system.
• Work alongside an international team on command and control systems.
• Profound understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, including MVCC, database sharding, WAL, and VACUUM processing.
• Strong capability in writing and troubleshooting intricate SQL queries.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a service-oriented architecture.
• Proficient with Nginx, HAProxy, and Istio for load balancing.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, and Cloudflare.
• Knowledge of Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in Python for automation purposes.
• Experience with Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics and Zabbix for monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with logging tools like Graylog, Logstash, and Fluentd.
• Experience utilizing Jenkins and GitLab CI for pipeline construction.
• Upper-intermediate English language skills.
• Extensive practical experience in supporting and optimizing observability stacks.
• Intermediate understanding of data networks, security, databases, cloud providers, process automation, and Kubernetes.
• Advanced experience managing any cloud provider using Infrastructure as Code (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Advanced skills in Linux administration.
• Experience in maintaining highly available infrastructure for web application stacks.
