Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – OpenStack, Virtualization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition and development of an internal KVM-based virtualization framework.

• Design and establish an OpenStack infrastructure for internal operations.

• Incorporate SAN and NetApp storage solutions into the newly developed platform.

• Implement and set up open-source automation tools (e.g., Ansible).

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and provide technical guidance.

• Create documentation for architecture, configuration, and operational processes.

• Assist with ongoing platform improvements and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• In-depth experience with Linux, KVM virtualization, and OpenStack implementation.

• Strong expertise in UCS hardware, SAN, and NetApp storage integration.

• Proficient in using open-source automation tools (e.g., Ansible).

• Outstanding documentation and communication capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as within a distributed team.

• Experience with OpenShift and other open-source cloud solutions is preferred.

• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
