This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Design and develop scalable and secure cloud infrastructure as well as deployment pipelines.
• Take ownership of the entire infrastructure lifecycle, encompassing architecture, provisioning, deployment, and operations.
• Facilitate technical design discussions and contribute to decisions regarding infrastructure and platform architecture.
• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation to enhance engineering productivity.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term, scalable resolutions.
• Enhance system performance, reliability, observability, and cost-effectiveness across the platform.
• Define and implement SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and postmortems.
• Collaborate closely with Product and other Engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
• Manage and participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and operational readiness.
• Over 5 years of experience in building and scaling cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE systems.
• Proficient programming or scripting abilities in one or more languages, such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Background in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
• Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience in designing and managing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines and promoting deployment automation.
• Demonstrated ability to debug and optimize production systems, including taking on-call responsibilities.
• Capable of leading projects independently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Preferred: knowledge of CVE, NVD, KEV, or exploit intelligence datasets.
• Preferred: experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Preferred: experience in high-growth or startup environments.
