Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as a proactive technical advisor, shaping architectural decisions and promoting a DevOps culture across various development teams.

• Architect, manage, and operate AWS/GCP services, ensuring smooth interoperability between platforms via Cross Connects and VPNs.

• Design and provision scalable infrastructure for development teams utilizing Terraform / Terragrunt and GitLab pipelines.

• Lead investigations to optimize cloud costs through traffic analysis and CloudTrail enhancements.

• Facilitate AWS Organization account onboarding and uphold security best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of comprehensive engineering experience.

• 5+ years of managing large-scale production infrastructure in AWS.

• High Initiative: A proven history of proactively identifying architectural deficiencies and driving solutions from inception to deployment.

• Influence & Leadership: Established ability to impact technical decisions, mentor colleagues, and nurture a culture of engineering excellence across multiple teams.

• Strong proficiency in Linux and Open Source software.

• Expert-level experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

• Solid and successful experience in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.

• Advanced skills in designing and building Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Proficient English language skills (team communication is bilingual ES/EN).
