This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.
• Oversee WWF’s Azure infrastructure, which includes managing subscriptions, resource provisioning, and virtual machines such as Windows, SQL, Red Hat, and firewalls in both production and staging environments.
• Set up Microsoft Entra tenants, Azure Enterprise Apps SSO, role-based access control (RBAC), and user groups.
• Actively implement system patches and automate administrative tasks utilizing PowerShell and the Graph API.
• Develop backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Diagnose networking issues across virtual networks, sites, and tenants, including firewalls, load balancers, as well as Azure and Cloudflare DNS.
• Function as the primary escalation point for issues related to Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage projects from start to finish while ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend work in response to critical outages or scheduled maintenance.
• Facilitate secure and reliable operations for WWF-US and Country Offices located in South America, Central America, Africa, and Asia.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 6 years in the IT sector.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Spanish.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise IT systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience in overseeing highly available and resilient Azure production systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, cloud networking, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and both Windows and Linux servers.
• Expertise in managing Windows domains and Active Directory.
• Proficient in using PowerShell and Graph API for Azure management, automation of workflows, and orchestration of deployments.
• Familiarity with provisioning and managing access for Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Foundry.
• Experience in integrating Microsoft Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Agents into enterprise Azure/M365 environments, including governance of data access.
• Significant experience in building, deploying, and managing Azure virtual machines.
• Background in diagnosing complex issues within cloud or hybrid systems and formulating scalable solutions.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical problems.
• Enterprise-level expertise in infrastructure, Azure cloud architecture, identity and access management, and AI-driven automation technologies.
• Skills in configuring Microsoft Entra tenants and domains, including DNS and VNET setup.
• A strong commitment to inclusion and alignment with WWF’s core values.
• Must currently reside and be authorized to work in Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Suriname, or Guyana.
