Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Provision and manage sanctioned cloud resources, platform services, and access configurations.

• Oversee workloads, performance, availability, and utilization while responding to operational incidents.

• Implement authorized security baselines, identity controls, tagging, logging, and configuration standards.

• Facilitate hybrid connectivity and dependencies with on-premises infrastructure, networks, and applications.

• Provide analysis on cost, utilization, and optimization; implementation is subject to approval.

• Maintain inventories, diagrams, procedures, configuration records, and recovery documentation for the cloud.

• Assist with incident, problem, and change management, contributing to root-cause analysis.

• Support TDRA-hosted or other authorized environments once the target model and access are established.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS in enterprise settings.

• Familiarity with cloud networking, identity management, monitoring, security configuration, backup, and cost management.

• Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator/Architect or AWS Solutions Architect.

• Experience in navigating controlled privileged-access and change-management processes.
