Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Azure Fabric Dynamics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Taking responsibility for the overall solutions co-developed with the team.

• Creating or modifying cloud data processing solutions.

• Developing and updating documentation.

• Analyzing and optimizing solutions for existing or planned systems.

• Assessing client requirements to deliver optimal solutions for their business needs.

• Evaluating potential risks.

• Adapting solutions to meet business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3.5 years working with cloud data on **Azure** (validated by commercially implemented projects).

• Proficient in **SQL** at an advanced level and applying it in MS and other technological solutions.

• Familiar with methodologies and proficient in using **Git and CI/CD**.

• Experience with **Microsoft Fabric** and **MS Dynamics** systems.

• Capable of creating and optimizing data processing solutions (ETL, ELT, etc.) preceded by technical projects and alternative solutions.

• Comfortable with monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in the cloud, with a solid understanding of how to plan infrastructure and calculate costs.

• Knowledgeable about **Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse** concepts.

• Familiar with **SMP and MPP architecture** along with examples of solutions based on these architectures.

• Understanding of mechanisms related to secure data storage and processing in the cloud.

• Experience in direct client collaboration.

• Deliberately utilizing Generative AI in software development processes and project and technology decision-making.

• Proficient in **English** at an intermediate level (minimum B2) and able to communicate fluently in **Polish**.

• Commercial experience in processing large data sets using **Databricks** is a plus.
