Senior Cloud Data Engineer, AWS, GCP, Databricks

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the overall solutions co-developed with the team.

• Creating or modifying cloud data processing solutions.

• Generating and updating documentation.

• Analyzing and optimizing solutions related to the current or planned system.

• Evaluating client requirements to deliver optimal solutions for their business needs.

• Assessing potential risks.

• Tailoring solutions to meet business requirements.

• Testing solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3.5 years working with data in AWS cloud (confirmed by commercially deployed projects).

• You possess commercial experience working with GCP, BigQuery, and Dataproc.

• You have experience working with Databricks.

• You possess commercial experience with PySpark.

• You have experience working with Terraform.

• You use SQL at an advanced level and apply it to MS technology solutions and beyond.

• You are familiar with methodologies and proficient in Git and CI/CD.

• You create and optimize data processing solutions (ETL, ELT, etc.) preceded by a technical project and alternative solutions (e.g., Apache Airflow).

• You can program in Python and utilize libraries such as Pandas and/or NumPy.

• You have experience with agile practices and are familiar with the tools used in software development processes, including Azure DevOps.

• You possess knowledge of mechanisms for secure data storage and processing in the cloud.

• You consciously use Generative AI in the software development process and in architectural and technological decisions.

• You are proficient in English at an intermediate level (minimum B2) and can communicate fluently in Polish.
