Senior Software Engineer, DGXC Data Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement software code and cloud services for Data Management, which includes creating a catalog, overseeing metadata, and managing the lifecycle of datasets and checkpoints.

• Collaborate with other technical leaders at NVIDIA to leverage existing technologies whenever feasible.

• Work together with the NVIDIA research team to incorporate new advancements in storage and computing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience in developing and deploying services using Kubernetes, Cloud Native technologies, and various Cloud Service Providers.

• Familiarity with one of the major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proven experience working with teams to write software that supports cloud services.

• Background in backend systems and software engineering.

• Proficient in a relevant programming language, such as Go, Python, C/C++, or Java.

• Knowledge of standard practices in software engineering, architecture, and design.

• Capability to document software and services effectively.

• Ability to decompose projects into actionable tasks.

• Skilled in communicating design concepts, project status, and other complex topics in written, visual, and oral formats.

• Enthusiasm and aptitude for collaborating across teams and with stakeholders throughout the project.
