Senior Cloud AI Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated Cloud and AI solutions utilizing GCP services.

• Work together with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute scalable, comprehensive AI models that address real-world business issues.

• Create, develop, and implement end-to-end AI models using GCP services.

• Utilize Google Gemini and other Google Generative AI tools to craft state-of-the-art generative AI solutions.

• Integrate AI solutions into production systems, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.

• Lead initiatives involving large language models.

• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to enhance solution performance and refine workflows.

• OpenAPI Development: Construct, enhance, and document APIs adhering to OpenAPI standards for seamless integration with AI systems.

• Develop and implement solutions using large language models for applications such as NLP, chatbots, summarization, and tailored AI solutions.

• Ensure AI solutions are efficient, resilient, and fine-tuned for production environments.

• Mentor fellow team members and provide guidance on best practices for AI/ML development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in AI development and more than 5 years in GCP or another cloud platform.

• GCP certifications (ML Engineer, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer).

• Knowledge of AI Ethics and Responsible AI practices.

• Generative AI expertise: state-of-the-art Google models, LLM deployment, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.

• Proficiency in GCP Services: Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub.

• Experience with model deployment, including RAG implementation and API integration.

• Development skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, and OpenAPI standards.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Deploy), Terraform, SRE principles.

• Understanding of deployment patterns, including blue-green and canary.

• Leadership abilities in GCP/AI project management and team mentoring.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Effective technical communication with stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
