Senior Clinical Trial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Operate within a sponsor-dedicated framework backed by ICON’s global expertise.

• Oversee activities related to clinical trial operations across various clinical programs.

• Coordinate the delivery of clinical trial management.

• Address issues and enhance team capabilities.

• Manage the clinical segment of the budget and ensure optimal resource allocation.

• Create monitoring plans and tools to guarantee effective oversight of studies.

• Provide training and mentorship to Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).

• Propel enrollment and lead study initiation activities while maintaining timelines.

• Examine trip reports and implement corrective and preventative action plans as needed.

• Cultivate productive relationships with Sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Clinical Trial Management role within a CRO or Pharmaceutical Organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in health, life sciences, or other relevant academic fields.

• At least 10+ years of pertinent experience in clinical trial management.

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in monitoring.

• Experience in managing complex or global trials is a plus.

• Preferred: Experience overseeing all trial components from initiation to database lock.

• Preferred: Experience in coaching/mentoring other Clinical Trial Managers (CTMs), leading a team of CTMs, and participating in departmental initiatives.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).

• Legal authorization to work in Belgium.
