This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the planning, execution, and closure of Phase I–III clinical trials.
• Supervise and manage CROs and vendors to guarantee timely, budget-adherent, and regulatory-compliant completion of studies.
• Lead cross-functional teams in achieving study objectives and deliverables.
• Develop and implement study timelines.
• Track enrollment, site performance, data quality, and critical risk indicators.
• Proactively address issues with internal stakeholders for prompt resolution.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks.
• Oversee study CRO and vendor budgets and invoicing processes.
• Lead or assist in country and site feasibility, selection, and activation strategies.
• Attend CRO and vendor meetings.
• Review operational plans from CROs and vendors and contribute to the operational strategy.
• Summarize performance data from CROs, vendors, and sites, and escalate study risks to Clinical Operations leadership.
• Execute other related tasks as assigned.
• At least 5-7 years of clinical operations experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors.
• A BA/BS degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field is preferred.
• An independent professional who communicates proactively, frequently, and effectively.
• Detail-oriented, action-driven, organized, and dedicated to quality and consistency.
• Capable of successfully collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Smartsheets is desired.
• Utilizes AI to enhance team execution and decision-making.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
