This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Promote the Company's orthopedic surgical product sales through specialized clinical and logistical support in hospitals and during procedures.
• Provide independent guidance and assistance to surgeons in the operating room with clinical and technical expertise.
• Act as the exclusive Company representative for direct customer support during surgical operations.
• Ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues, exercise independent judgment, and respond effectively to physician needs and customer inquiries.
• Manage hospital billing processes and create/close purchase orders.
• Convey customer, procedural, and market insights to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Prepare and compile sales reports and documentation.
• Offer consultation to the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
• Oversee, track, and distribute equipment and assets throughout the designated area.
• Keep promotional materials in a presentable condition.
• Ensure that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to quality standards.
• Facilitate the movement of instruments, implants, and equipment between Sales Consultants and hospitals.
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience, OR an Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, OR a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• Capability to work in a laboratory/operating room setting.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel, including potential weekend and/or overnight trips.
• Reside in or have the ability to relocate to the assigned territory.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Competence in navigating complex working environments and team structures.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and operate within complex environments.
• Functional understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Basic knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
