Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and take responsibility for the advancement of clinical studies at investigative sites.

• Ensure that clinical studies are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with the protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and relevant regulations and standards.

• Organize activities necessary for the setup and monitoring of studies.

• Identify potential investigators.

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

• Manage appropriately sized clinical trials.

• Provide support to larger clinical study teams.

• Train and mentor junior staff members.

• Engage directly with clients.

• Initiate payment processes.

• Participate in proposal activities, including development and presentations to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Possession of a CRA certificate.

• At least 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device setting.

• Experience in monitoring clinical trials across various therapeutic areas.

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, with a travel commitment of approximately 50–60%.

• International travel may be necessary for certain senior-level roles.

• Proficiency in English and the local language.

• Additional language proficiency is considered an asset.

• A graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline is preferred.

• Experience in study start-up activities is preferred.

• A solid understanding of financial management is preferred for Senior CRAs.
