Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and take responsibility for the advancement of clinical studies at investigative sites

• Ensure that clinical studies are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), ICH-GCP guidelines, and relevant regulations and standards

• Coordinate the necessary activities to establish and monitor studies, which includes locating investigators and assisting in the preparation of regulatory submissions

• Conduct pre-study assessments and initiation visits

• Manage appropriately scaled clinical trials

• Provide support to clinical study teams on larger-scale trials

• Mentor and train junior staff members

• Engage directly with clients

• Initiate payment processes

• Participate in proposal efforts, including development and client presentations

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Certification as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

• At least 5 years of experience as a CRA/SCRA in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device setting

• Experience in monitoring clinical trials across various therapeutic areas

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, with a travel commitment of approximately 50–60%

• Some senior-level positions may require international travel

• Proficiency in English and the local language

• A graduate or postgraduate degree with a focus on a scientific or healthcare discipline is preferred

• Previous experience in study start-up activities is preferred

• Understanding of financial management is preferred for Senior CRAs
