Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the progress of clinical studies at research sites.

• Ensure that clinical studies are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with the protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and relevant regulations and standards.

• Coordinate the necessary activities for setting up and monitoring studies.

• Identify suitable investigators and assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

• Manage clinical trials of appropriate scale.

• Provide support for larger clinical trials alongside clinical study teams.

• Train and mentor junior staff members.

• Engage directly with clients.

• Initiate payment processes.

• Take part in proposal activities, including development and client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Possession of a CRA certification.

• At least 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device setting.

• Extensive background in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), oncology, infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal studies.

• Demonstrated experience in monitoring studies across multiple European countries.

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, with an estimated travel commitment of approximately 50–60%.

• International travel may be necessary for some senior-level roles.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential.

• Knowledge of additional languages is considered advantageous.

• Experience with study start-up activities is preferred.

• Familiarity with financial management is preferred for Senior CRAs.
