Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Engage in a sponsor-focused model supported by ICON’s worldwide expertise.

• Oversee and coordinate clinical trial activities in accordance with protocol, regulatory standards, and industry practices.

• Lead clinical trial monitoring responsibilities that require technical expertise, emphasizing quality and ongoing enhancement.

• Supervise clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

• Conduct site visits to evaluate site performance, address issues, and facilitate successful trial implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and precise data collection and reporting.

• Provide training and support to site personnel and fellow Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with site staff and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare-related field.

• Significant experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a comprehensive understanding of clinical trial procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management.

• Proficient in relevant clinical trial software and tools.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence and ensure compliance in a complex environment.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 60%).

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
