Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in a sponsor-focused model backed by ICON’s extensive global expertise.

• Support a single study in the cardiovascular/electrophysiology medical device sector, specifically targeting A-fib.

• Oversee clinical trial sites, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

• Foster and maintain effective working relationships with site personnel, investigators, and internal teams.

• Communicate efficiently with study teams and sites through a well-structured communication plan.

• Manage various priorities within a fast-paced environment.

• Create thorough, detail-oriented, and precise reports.

• Cover the Central/West region, requiring up to 65% regional travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of monitoring experience is required.

• A bachelor’s degree is essential, preferably a Bachelor of Science in Life Science, Physical Science, Nursing, or Biological Science.

• Experience in cardiovascular medical device monitoring is preferred; experience in complex cardiovascular/electrophysiology pharma monitoring and/or Coordinator/Nursing roles will be considered.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA regulations and ICH/GCP guidelines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to address risks, identify issues at sites, and implement effective solutions promptly.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and sustain productive working relationships with site personnel, investigators, and internal teams.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to adapt communication style to various stakeholders.

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficient in clinical trial management.

• Residing in the West region of the US near a major airport.

• Willingness to travel up to 65% regionally.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
