This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.
• Plans, manages, and assesses performance improvement reporting activities for designated facilities.
• Provides facility leadership with essential information for daily quality operations, decision-making support, and preparation for Board oversight.
• Identifies best practices for quality improvement success and disseminates these to key stakeholders to establish consistent practices.
• Gathers, analyzes, and shares relevant clinical data regarding outcomes and resource usage; offers support and monitors assigned facilities; addresses user inquiries and training requests, and follows up on variations.
• Ensures ongoing system trend analysis is conducted to pinpoint priorities and areas for improvement; consistently generates improvement ideas.
• Aids in the formulation of quality objectives and supplies supporting data to meet these targets.
• Collaborates with various departments to fulfill facility and organizational quality and safety objectives.
• Contributes to the creation and updating of policies and procedures to foster continuous quality improvement.
• Provides analytical leadership and consultative expertise; acts as the main liaison with tool vendors.
• Supports ambulatory, post-acute, and regional quality initiatives as needed.
• Advocates for the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Offers direct education to users in clinical applications, along with support for field trainers.
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• RN or other clinical licensure is preferred.
• Certification in healthcare quality, patient safety, or a related regulatory body is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality improvement experience required (preferably in a tertiary care environment).
• Additional experience in post-acute and ambulatory quality is preferred.
• Certification and familiarity with Lean concepts is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills and direct knowledge of data analysis techniques, including statistical displays at both macro and micro levels, are required.
• Advanced business communication skills are preferred.
