This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Application Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the IT Inpatient System.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision, requiring little instruction and guidance.
• Provides support for system applications, with a primary focus on Epic ClinDoc and CPOE.
• Exhibits a high degree of proficiency and expertise in software functionality and integration.
• Responsible for constructing system components, conducting testing, and offering implementation support and maintenance for designated system applications.
• Engages in thorough analysis, troubleshooting, data collection, and root cause analysis, identifying and/or implementing potential solutions for issues related to the system or its usage.
• Analyzes, reviews, and tests each product release, communicating necessary changes to operations.
• Must document and adhere to system change control procedures.
• Collaborates closely with other analysts, software vendors, and operations to maintain system integrity and ensure IT deliverables align with operational business needs.
• Researches, analyzes, facilitates, and implements business and system workflows to enhance process improvement and coordinate business practices.
• Identifies best practices and implements opportunities for standardization.
• Prepares necessary activity and other reports.
• Offers guidance and mentoring to junior analysts.
• Achieves necessary certifications in a timely manner according to policy.
• Provides on-call support for the application.
• High School diploma/GED along with nine (9) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
• Associate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, accompanied by seven (7) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, with five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
• Post Graduate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two required.
• Must be certified in the following applications per the IT Epic Certification Policy or obtain certification within 90 days (per application) from the last required class: Epic ClinDoc, CPOE, ASAP, or Lumens.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
