This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +8 more states.
• Oversee the complete client lifecycle for a strategic and expanding portfolio of employer clients contracted through our health plan partners, enhancing retention and satisfaction through proactive, data-driven account management.
• Create and present compelling business reviews utilizing clinical outcomes, engagement metrics, and ROI analyses to influence executive decision-making and encourage ongoing investment in Virta from both clients and partners.
• Serve as a consultative advisor to clients, spearheading expansion discussions by identifying their evolving needs and aligning client objectives with population health trends that illustrate Virta’s value proposition.
• Lead negotiations for renewals and upsells, applying sound judgment, transparency, and client advocacy to guide stakeholders toward mutually advantageous agreements.
• Track key success metrics for your accounts, identifying risks and opportunities early on and adjusting strategies to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with internal cross-functional partners across Clinical, Member Engagement, Analytics, and Commercial teams to ensure exceptional client experiences.
• Collaborate with Member Engagement to enhance awareness and adoption within your client portfolio through targeted campaigns and engagement efforts.
• 6–8 years of experience in customer success, consulting, or client-facing account management roles.
• A proven history of independently managing enterprise or strategic employer accounts with strong retention, satisfaction, and growth achievements.
• Demonstrated success in leading contract renewals and expansions, utilizing consultative selling and negotiation skills to connect customer needs with measurable outcomes and ROI.
• Experience in presenting strategic and financial value to HR, benefits, and consulting audiences.
• A strategic thinker with robust business acumen, understanding key drivers of account growth, client economics, and decision-making processes within employer benefits.
• An adept relationship builder who earns the trust of senior clients and cross-functional partners.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, using data and insights to inform decisions and guide customer discussions.
• Demonstrates strong judgment in execution and prioritization, appropriately escalating strategic or sensitive issues.
• Curious, proactive, and focused on improvement—consistently asking “why,” experimenting thoughtfully, and sharing insights.
