Senior Client Platform Engineer, Windows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance CorpFleet’s Windows endpoint platform, which encompasses policy, management, reliability, and operational excellence.

• Sustain and refine Windows endpoint management workflows, focusing on Intune administration and device lifecycle processes.

• Propel security and compliance initiatives related to the platform, including application controls, privileged access workflows, secrets management, and endpoint visibility.

• Collaborate with CorpInfra, IAM, Security, Corp IT, and support teams on rollout strategies, escalation pathways, access dependencies, and ownership delineations.

• Enhance operational scalability through automation, comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and improved platform management practices.

• Lead cross-functional, multi-phase platform projects and make informed trade-off decisions regarding reliability, security, employee experience, and team capacity.

• Mentor colleagues and elevate standards for technical judgment, documentation quality, and operational execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience in systems, platform, endpoint, or corporate engineering roles in support of production enterprise environments.

• Extensive hands-on experience managing Windows endpoints within an enterprise context.

• Familiarity with Intune or similar Windows device management and policy tools.

• Proficient troubleshooting and debugging skills related to endpoint configuration, update processes, policy behaviors, identity and access dependencies, and security controls.

• Experience with automation, scripting, and systems integration in production operational settings.

• Capacity to work autonomously on ambiguous challenges and lead cross-functional technical projects from inception to execution.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the talent to produce clear documentation, runbooks, and technical decision-making records.
