This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as Vida's primary technical liaison for negotiations regarding data exchanges with clients and vendors, which includes managing SFTP/file transfer specifications, connection configurations, and protocol agreements.
• Establish and convey expectations for both inbound and outbound file exchanges, covering formats, schedules, error handling, and escalation procedures.
• Lead the onboarding process for new client data feeds, overseeing the transition from kickoff to steady-state and ensuring a seamless and well-documented transfer.
• Take responsibility for the quality of data received from clients, being the accountable party for guaranteeing that inbound files are complete, accurate, timely, and compliant with specifications.
• Set and uphold data quality standards and acceptance criteria for all incoming feeds; address or escalate non-compliant data instead of allowing it to proceed downstream.
• Actively identify trends in quality degradation before they escalate into business-impacting issues, working directly with client technical teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to understand the impact of upstream data quality on downstream member outcomes, billing accuracy, and client reporting—using this context to prioritize quality improvement efforts.
• Keep comprehensive and precise documentation of all active integrations, specifications, data dictionaries, and known quality issues.
• Oversee and manage ongoing workflows for inbound and outbound file exchanges, addressing issues and facilitating resolutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of SLAs across client feeds and proactively escalate potential risks.
• Review existing workflows and proactively spot opportunities to enhance efficiency, minimize manual interventions, and boost data quality.
• Work alongside the product team to translate operational challenges into enhancements within the Client Command Center: Configure.
• Identify and promote standardization opportunities among clients and vendors, aiming to minimize one-off configurations and develop scalable, repeatable processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Management Associate to share knowledge, divide responsibilities, and enhance team capabilities.
• Partner with engineering and product teams on integration specifications and platform tools.
• Work with Client Success Managers to ensure that data operations are aligned with client commitments and SLAs, which may involve participating in client-facing meetings.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data operations, data integration, or technical client success, ideally within a healthcare SaaS context.
• Practical experience with SFTP/managed file transfer (MFT), including setup, troubleshooting, and specification documentation.
• Strong familiarity with common healthcare data formats such as EDI 834/837, HL7, FHIR, and delimited flat files.
• Proven ability to articulate technical requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to quality ownership—ensuring that poor-quality data is not passed downstream without inquiry.
• Experience in identifying and spearheading process improvement initiatives—taking initiative without waiting to be prompted.
• Comfortable collaborating with product, engineering, and client-facing teams simultaneously.
• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
• Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
