Senior Claims Adjuster – Premises

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage a caseload primarily focused on litigated commercial general liability claims, with an emphasis on premises liability cases.

• Supervise and guide independent adjusters and defense counsel as required to effectively oversee claims.

• Investigate intricate claims to assess exposure, establish liability, and negotiate settlements within designated authority limits.

• Create and execute action plans to resolve claims in a timely and efficient manner.

• Track and allocate reserves accurately, ensuring financial integrity throughout the claims lifecycle.

• Engage in litigation processes and implement cost containment strategies in collaboration with legal teams.

• Professionally communicate claim statuses and activities with supervisors, brokers, agents, and clients.

• Mentor junior staff and participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

• Remain updated on relevant laws, statutes, and industry standards impacting premises liability claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• A Multi-state Licensed Casualty Adjuster is mandatory.

• Professional designations such as AIC, CPCU, or ARM are highly desirable.

• Experience in handling premises liability claims, including slip and fall and wrongful death cases, is a plus.
