This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take ownership of the overall performance, strategy, and execution for designated Authorized Treatment Centers and their corresponding referral networks.
• Facilitate appropriate patient identification, referral, and therapy adoption through compliant education and engagement efforts.
• Differentiate Kite CAR T therapies from alternative options by utilizing approved messaging.
• Create and implement detailed account and territory plans that align with regional and national priorities.
• Meet established sales goals, KPIs, and growth objectives.
• Establish trusted relationships with treating physicians, referrers, transplant teams, administrators, and key influencers.
• Navigate intricate academic and integrated delivery networks to align priorities and eliminate barriers to care.
• Lead multi-stakeholder engagement initiatives to support class and brand growth.
• Represent Kite at scientific congresses, speaker programs, and peer-to-peer educational forums.
• Identify, map, and enhance patient referral pathways within hematology and oncology networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to facilitate patient access, reimbursement education, and logistical coordination.
• Assist in preparing ATCs and ensuring their comfort with CAR T processes.
• Act as the coordinator among Medical, Market Access, Operations, and ATC Onboarding teams.
• Provide timely insights regarding account trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.
• Influence resource prioritization to address specific account needs and growth opportunities.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies.
• PhD/PharmD with 2+ years of experience in rare disease, Hematology/Oncology, or complex account management, OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years.
• Demonstrated success in rare disease pharmaceutical sales, Hematology/Oncology, or managing complex accounts.
• Experience in hematology/oncology or cell therapy.
• Proven track record in managing large, sophisticated accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen along with planning and execution capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix team environment in a fast-paced, field-based setting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Experience launching products within academic hospitals or transplant center environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional account teams without direct authority.
• Exceptional selling skills supported by a strong record of success.
• Capability to identify suitable patients and secure meaningful commitments from treaters and referrers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
• Must reside within 20 miles of the Raleigh, North Carolina area.
