Senior Catalog Manager – PIM, Travel & Hospitality Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Catalog Strategy & Governance: Establish the overarching vision for the enterprise catalog, including the operational model, taxonomy frameworks, data ownership protocols, and lifecycle management processes across various product business sectors.

• PIM Platform Leadership: Serve as the primary Product Owner and business leader for the comprehensive assessment, implementation, and rollout of the enterprise PIM ecosystem.

• Complex Data Modeling: Design omnichannel-compatible product schemas that illustrate intricate variations, hierarchies, and cross-selling structures across accommodations, activities, memberships, mobility, and retail offerings.

• Enterprise Systems Integration: Lead the integration strategy linking the PIM with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), resort channel managers, inventory systems, payment gateways, and CRM solutions.

• Booking & Conversion Enablement: Enhance product visibility and merchant functionalities by configuring comprehensive metadata, media, and promotional bundles that facilitate personalization and recommendation systems.

• Data Quality & Localization: Establish corporate data validation standards, monitor catalog health metrics, and oversee multilingual localization layers (over 8 languages).

• Stakeholder Management: Organize alignment workshops and directly coordinate between Revenue Management, Commerce, Digital Experience, and external implementation partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Digital Commerce, Information Systems, Hospitality, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Over 10 years of focused professional experience in Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog Management, Digital Commerce, or Master Data Management (MDM).

• Niche Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience leading enterprise PIM implementations specifically in the hospitality, travel, resorts, e-commerce, marketplaces, or booking sectors.

• Core PIM Tools: Solid technical strategy background with PIM configurations, particularly favoring Akeneo or leading platforms such as Salsify, Informatica, Pimcore, Stibo Systems, or inriver.

• Ecosystem Familiarity: Hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms.

• Architecture Literacy: Comprehensive understanding of API-driven integrations, data validation schemas, Master Data Management (MDM) principles, and data governance frameworks.

• Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of enterprise CRM tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Adobe Campaign. Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and contemporary product analytics software (GA4, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau). Professional certifications in PIM platforms, data governance frameworks, Salesforce, or Adobe Experience Cloud.
