This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Catalog Strategy & Governance: Establish the overarching vision for the master enterprise catalog, including operating model, taxonomy frameworks, data ownership guidelines, and lifecycle management processes across various product business lines.
• PIM Platform Leadership: Serve as the main Product Owner and business lead for the comprehensive assessment, implementation, and launch of the enterprise PIM ecosystem.
• Complex Data Modeling: Design omnichannel-ready product schemas that accommodate intricate variations, hierarchies, and cross-sell frameworks spanning accommodations, activities, memberships, mobility, and retail products.
• Enterprise Systems Integration: Spearhead the integration strategy linking the PIM with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), resort channel managers, inventory systems, payment gateways, and CRM solutions.
• Booking & Conversion Enablement: Enhance product visibility and merchant capabilities by setting up rich metadata, media, and promotional bundles that facilitate personalization and recommendation engines.
• Data Quality & Localization: Establish corporate data validation standards, monitor catalog health metrics, and oversee multilingual localization efforts (in over 8 languages).
• Stakeholder Management: Organize alignment workshops and coordinate directly with Revenue Management, Commerce, Digital Experience, and external implementation partners.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, Digital Commerce, Information Systems, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Over 10 years of specialized professional experience in Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog Management, Digital Commerce, or Master Data Management (MDM).
• Niche Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise PIM implementations specifically within the hospitality, travel, resorts, e-commerce, marketplaces, or booking sectors.
• Core PIM Tools: A robust technical strategy background with PIM systems, preferably with Akeneo, or leading platforms such as Salsify, Informatica, Pimcore, Stibo Systems, or inriver.
• Ecosystem Familiarity: Hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms.
• Architecture Literacy: Comprehensive understanding of API-driven integrations, data validation schemas, Master Data Management (MDM) principles, and data governance frameworks.
