Senior Cabinet Vision Draftsperson – Cabinet Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive joinery shop drawings and production-ready outputs utilizing Cabinet Vision.

• Develop cabinetry and joinery layouts tailored to client specifications, inspiration sources, or vacant space concepts.

• Engage in direct communication with clients about layouts, materials, colors, finishes, appliances, and functional needs.

• Generate precise CNC nesting files and manufacturing-ready documentation for factory production.

• Decode architectural drawings, site measurements, and project specifications for both residential and commercial endeavors.

• Evaluate drawings and specifications to pinpoint potential manufacturing or installation challenges prior to production.

• Manage revisions, approvals, and technical information with internal stakeholders and clients.

• Leverage a solid understanding of Australian joinery standards, manufacturing workflows, and material optimization techniques.

• Keep organized project documentation, revisions, and file management across various active projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience with Cabinet Vision in a cabinetry or joinery production setting.

• Prior experience with an Australian joinery or cabinetry company is essential.

• Extensive experience in both residential and commercial joinery projects.

• Capability to manage both cabinetry design and technical drafting tasks.

• Experience in preparing CNC nesting files, manufacturing outputs, and production-ready shop drawings.

• Strong knowledge of Australian joinery standards, cabinetry construction methods, and manufacturing processes.

• Proficient understanding of material optimization and CNC production workflows.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting/design software is highly valued.

• Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills with a professional and clear communication style.

• Confident in direct communication with Australian clients via phone and email.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
