Senior C++ Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Define the technical strategy for our Switchboard trading platform

• Focus on performance-sensitive components such as pricing engines and connectivity gateways

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain production systems

• Provide technical guidance and mentor fellow engineers

• Uphold quality standards and engage in architectural decision-making

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in C++ and Linux systems programming (5+ years)

• Proficient in low-level programming

• Demonstrated success in optimizing complex, latency-sensitive systems

• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems architecture and network protocols (TCP/UDP, socket programming, FIX)

• Background in system design and understanding of architectural compromises

• Experience with Go is a significant advantage

• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, testing, and data analysis

• Familiarity with Git and shell scripting

• Background in financial services or trading technology is a bonus
