Senior C++ Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and develop high-performance algorithms and intricate business/geoscience functionalities for Windows Desktop.

• Sustain, enhance, and meticulously refactor our well-established, high-quality monolithic codebase to guarantee long-term architectural stability.

• Perform code reviews, work collaboratively on technical designs, and promote engineering best practices within a distributed team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in C++20, Qt 6, STL, Boost, CMake, Git, GitLab CI, and Google Test.

• Experience in commercial software development utilizing C++.

• Strong command of Modern C++ (C++17/20) and its standard libraries (STL, Boost).

• A proven history of creating complex, data-intensive desktop applications tailored for Windows.

• Solid background in CAD/CAE systems, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), industrial, scientific, or simulation software.

• A clean code mentality, outstanding debugging abilities, and a thorough understanding of multithreading and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with Qt5/Qt6 and QML is a plus.

• Experience in 2D/3D graphics engines, OpenGL, or real-time visualization tools is advantageous.

• Understanding of network protocols, client-server architectures, and REST APIs is desirable.
