Senior Business System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• This position entails providing support, enhancing, and implementing software applications utilized within the organization.

• Responsible for overseeing and directing intermediate-scale projects or components of larger projects.

• Develops project plans and timelines while coordinating project resources.

• The incumbent will identify opportunities to utilize technologies that enhance business practices by designing and implementing application or product improvements.

• Acts as a liaison between customers, end-users, IT personnel, and software vendors regularly to ensure technology functionality aligns with operational processes.

• Assesses, researches, analyzes, and documents stakeholder requirements, selecting suitable information gathering and/or modeling techniques to elicit needs.

• Develops comprehensive test cases, executes them, and shares findings with business and technical managers for approval.

• Collaborates with developers to propose solutions and provide cost and time estimates for fixes and enhancements.

• Conducts long-term analysis and design of systems and hardware to sustain production environments.

• Synthesizes requirements and formulates recommendations that best serve the business objectives.

• Participates in project teams focused on developing or modifying highly complex information systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, Technical disciplines, Education, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or Information Technology (Required).

• Candidates lacking a bachelor's degree but possessing 6 or more years of relevant experience may be considered.

• A minimum of 4 years of pertinent experience (Required).

• Advanced SQL proficiency (Required).

• Experience with EDI-834 files (Required).

• Familiarity with QNXT and/or Facets is a plus.

• Experience in member enrollment is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Clarity - ID card-related configuration and member eligibility processes is beneficial.

• Experience with Medicaid, commercial health plans, and marketplace coverage is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, and CSS is preferred.
